And we go home

Last shot I took at the beach, got dark pretty fast after that. There were still surfers out but the beach was closed to traffic. I parked the car on a side road and walked in so this was the first time I had been at the light house to see a sunset. Really beautiful place. Also tried to take a shot of the clouds to the east but didnt come out like I wanted. The cloud was weird, like a giant blanket slowly moving to the west and as the sun went down it became very dark.
It just reminded me of a story I read when I was a kid about night being a giant blanket that the sun pulls over the world to let us sleep.
